HOLOPLOT offers Audio Modules with hardware variations to support either Dante or Ravenna AoIP standards. The X1 MD96 and MD80-S models are offered in either Dante or Ravenna, while the X2 MD30 model is only offered in Ravenna.
In this section, we will walk you through the process of setting up the system for those two distinct protocols.
You can use the section inside the settings page to toggle between the two standards. Make sure to select the AoIP standard that matches your active HOLOPLOT Audio Module system.
Network and Clock configuration and routing between Dante transmitters and HOLOPLOT Audio Modules will happen inside of Dante Controller.
Routing of the Dante channels into Audio Inputs will happen inside HOLOPLOT Control.
Network Configuration and Clock configuration will happen inside HOLOPLOT Control.
Stream management and stream routing will happen inside HOLOPLOT Control.
Switching between Dante and Ravenna will erase some information on the system.
When moving from either one, the system will discard existing module pairings.
When moving away from Ravenna, the system will discard stream subscriptions, audio input routings, and Network Settings.
